Documenting human life, one story at a time.

No one else has lived your life. Only you can tell your story.

How it works

Choose a Story Form

Choose a story form that focuses on a specific human experience. Each form contains thoughtfully designed questions to help you reflect and share in your own words.

Take Your Time

Answer only what you feel comfortable sharing. Every question is optional.

Respond in text or voice, entirely at your own pace.

Share Your Experience

Once you’re finished, submit your responses. Every submission is read and shared thoughtfully as part of Library of Human Experience.

  • Share at your own paceThere is no rush or expectation. Take your time and share as much or as little as you’re comfortable sharing.
  • Your story remains yoursYou own everything you share. Library of Human Experience exists to preserve your story, not take it from you.
  • You choose how you’re representedShare your story anonymously or be credited, whichever feels right to you.
  • Update your story over timeExperiences change over time. Add an update to your story whenever you’d like, and it will appear after your original story.
  • Edit or remove your story at any timeYou can request changes to your original story or have it removed whenever you choose.

Why This Exists

Most people go through life with stories that are never fully told.
This exists to give those stories space to be reflected on, expressed, and understood.

Available Story Forms

Each story form explores a different topic and has been thoughtfully created to help you share your story. 🤍
When you’re ready, your story is yours to tell.
In your own words. In your own time. In your own way.

If there’s a story form you’d like to see added, you’re always welcome to suggest one.
