I’ve learnt a lot as I’ve progressed, like platonic attraction and all the types of asexuality
What are things about asexuality you wish people understood better?
That you don’t need to have sex to identify, because it’s about attraction not the act. That’s like saying you aren’t romantically attracted to someone unless you’ve kissed

I’ve come out to a few people. What I would do is teach them everything about LGBTQ+, until they remember what each identity means, then I would state which one I was. It helped so they knew stuff BEFORE I came out, so they didn’t ask weird questions

I told my close friends

They were kinda like: “oh…okay” but not in a bad way
