How did you first discover fingerboarding, and how long has it been?
I discovered fingerboarding as a kid when tech deck started popping up in walmarts ect. I got my first tech deck when I was 8. It was a Rodney Mullen A Team board. I never could do more than fling em across the table. After not skateboarding in 20 years i decided to try and ride my skateboard to work the day after i got it and sprained my wrist, ankle and shoulder in one crash. After that became to afraid to ever ride it again. I got really really depressed and was bummed out that i was to afraid to ride my board again. I decided to get off the fence about buying a real fingerboard. My first real board was a custom board by Nerdworx_fb and after that the whole fingerboard journeh began and pulled me out of that super dark place. The community is amazing. Everybody supports everybody. Shares eachothers clips ect. I was welcomed with open arms by the locals at my first event. Its just something ive fallen in love with and would 10/10 recommend it to anyone.
