How did you first discover fingerboarding, and how long has it been?
I first discovered fingerboarding when I bought a DGK Tech Deck. I was just messing around with it one day and decided to see if anyone else on the internet was into them. I started scrolling, and post after post, I saw people doing the craziest, most technical tricks on these tiny boards. I WAS HOOKED.
When I first looked into getting a real wooden board, I honestly couldn’t believe the prices—I thought it was crazy. But a year later, my brother gifted me a SlushCult LTF board for Christmas, and everything changed. Since then, I’ve been fully immersed in the community, supporting the scene and loving every bit of it. I even went to my first event at DextersLab x PopUpParksNYC, which was an amazing experience.
All together, I’ve been fingerboarding for about two years now, but this past year is when I’ve really dedicated myself to progressing and getting better.
What’s your favourite trick to do?
As for my favorite trick, you can’t beat a clean, simple kickflip. It’s easily my absolute go-to.
