Documenting human life, one story at a time.

No one else has lived your life. Only you can tell your story.

How it works

Stories begin with thoughtfully designed story forms.

Each form focuses on a specific human experience and contains questions created to help people reflect and share in their own words.

People can respond in text or voice, entirely at their own pace.

Every submission is read and shared thoughtfully as part of Library of Human Experience.

If there’s a story form you’d like to see added, you’re always welcome to suggest one.

  • You own everything you shareYour story remains yours at all times. The Library exists to hold it, not take it from you.
  • You choose how you’re representedYou can remain anonymous or be credited, depending on what feels right for you.
  • You can request removal or edits at any timeAnything shared can be updated or taken down whenever you choose.
  • You share at your own paceThere is no rush, pressure, or expectation around how much or how little you share.

Why This Exists

Most people go through life with stories that are never fully told.
This exists to give those stories space to be reflected on, expressed, and understood.

Available Story Forms

Each story form explores a different topic and has been thoughtfully created to help you share your story. 🤍
When you’re ready, your story is yours to tell.
In your own words. In your own time. In your own way.

More story forms are added carefully and thoughtfully over time.

If there’s a topic you’d like to see included, let me know below.

If you choose to leave your email address, I’ll let you know when that form becomes available. 🤍

The Library of Human Experience continues to evolve over time. 🤍

As more people share their experiences, the process and structure adapt to make participation feel more open, comfortable, and accessible.

The goal is to keep building a space where people feel safe expressing real parts of their lives.
